Fees

Fees are different from person to person. Most universities calculate the tuition fees according to the courses you are taking in a semester, plus some other miscellaneous fees. Typical fees include:

Basic tuition fee based on the number of credit hours you are taking or the department/program/faculty that you are enrolling in
activity and athletic / recreation fees
Student services fee
Society Health Plan fee, etc.

Fees for international students / Visa students are usually more expensive than local students. Generally, they are twice the tuition fees that of local students.

all institutions offer various kind of financial aids including scholarships, bursaries, and government loans and/or grants.

You can apply for government loans/ grants during your post-secondary education and this amount is interest-free during your study period. You start repaying your loans six months after you graduate or withdraw from full-time studies. The amount of loans/grants you will get depend on your financial need. For those who have high financial need and dependents, they are eligible for a federal grant as well – this amount does not need to pay back to the government.
